I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and I don’t know why. I see all my friends that are in extremely committed relationships, actually a bunch are either engaged or married, and I have mixed feelings. Sometimes I guess you could say I’m jealous and want what they have, but most often I look at them and I just don’t understand. We are SO young and why give up everything you want for a relationship. I see all my friends just letting go of their dreams and ambitions to please the one they love. I pride myself in the fact I’m extremely independent and I’m not one of those girls who need a boyfriend to be happy. I am perfectly happy living my life for myself.
